A video has resurfaced of singer Tate McRae predicting a score for the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2023. Fans noticed that the score she shared perfectly matches the final score of the 2025 Super Bowl, with the Eagles winning against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Did Tate McRae Predict the 2025 Super Bowl Score?

On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, with a score of 40 against 22. Pop star Tate McRae might have unknowingly predicted this win back in 2023.

In a clip that resurfaced on social media after the big game, McRae is being interviewed by the Philadelphia radio station Q102. Host Rachel Marie quizzed McRae about her knowledge of the city, at one point asking her to predict the score of an upcoming Eagles game.

“I think it’s gonna be 70 and… no. No, it’s gonna be 40 and 22,” McRae predicted. When asked who she thought would win the game, she answered “Obviously Philly.”

It isn’t clear from the clip who the Eagles would be playing, but based on the interview taking place in September 2023, People speculates that the other team might have been the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So it wasn’t an exact prediction of this year’s Super Bowl, but it’s still pretty cool.

McRae Reacted to the Video Resurfacing

On Monday, McRae herself reacted to the video going viral, reposting a headline about it from Rolling Stone on her Instagram stories and simply writing, “Lmfaoo.” Meanwhile, fans are reacting to the resurfaced clip with awe.

“SHE A GENIUS,” wrote one user on Instagram, while someone else joked, “Does she have the Powerball numbers?” Another fan wrote, “Can’t spell Tate without ATE.” Someone else commented, “Damn I hope she bet on it.”

McRae is probably more focused on her new album coming out later this month. So Close to What, featuring the singles “It’s OK I’m OK” and “Sports Car,” is set to be released on February 21.
