Song Choices, Dances Revealed for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Two-Night Event

Dancing with the Stars will return on Monday and Tuesday night for two new episodes, as each of the remaining couples takes on two dances. Song choices and dance styles have been revealed for both nights, which will be themed to Soul Train and hair metal.


Songs, Dances Revealed for DWTS Soul Train Night

The dances for Soul Train Night will include a Foxtrot to “Dancing Machine” by Jackson 5 from Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson, as well as a Jive to “Shout” by the Isley Brothers from Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson.

Dwight Howard and his partner Daniella Karagach will perform a Cha-Cha to “Let’s Groove” by Earth, Wind & Fire, while Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong will also do a Cha-Cha to “It’s Tricky” by Run-DMC. Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten will dance a Foxtrot to “Lady Marmalade” by LaBelle, while Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko will dance a Rhumba to “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye.

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold will perform a Quickstep to “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder, while Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy will dance also dance a Quickstep to “Think” by Aretha Franklin. Meanwhile, Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart will do a Foxtrot to “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green.


Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber will dance a Viennese Waltz to “Fallin'” by Alicia Keys, while Reginald VelJohnson and his partner Emma Slater will perform a Foxtrot to “I Can See Clearly Now” by Johnny Nash.

Dances to Expect on Hair Metal Night

The remaining 11 couples will perform yet another dance on Tuesday’s Hair Metal Night. That includes a Paso Doble to “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi from Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, as well as a Tango to “Rock You Like A Hurricane” by Scorpions from Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson.


Meanwhile, Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach will perform a Paso Doble to “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith, and Chandler Kinney will perform a Jive to “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister with her partner Brandon Armstrong. Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten will dance a Jive to “Cum On Feel the Noize” by Quiet Riot.

Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko will be doing a Cha Cha to “Nothin’ But A Good Time” by Poison, while Stephen Nedoroscik will dance a Foxtrot to “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake with his partner Rylee Arnold. Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy will perform a Paso Doble to “You Give Love A Bad Name” by Bon Jovi.

Fans can also expect a Paso Doble from Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, as well as Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber. Roberts will be dancing to “Cherry Pie” by Warrant, while Tran will dance to “The Final Countdown” by Europe. And finally, Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater will dance a Cha Cha to “I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister.

Tune in to the two-night event starting Monday night on ABC and Disney+. Then tune in again on Tuesday night for the second round of dances. The episodes will also feature guest judges — Rosie Perez on Soul Train Night, and Gene Simmons on Hair Metal Night.
