Rylee Arnold Sprains Ankle During DWTS Rehearsal
“I have a sprained ankle, but it’s gonna be just fine,” Arnold told fans. “I’m gonna do everything I can these next couple of weeks to just be really careful, to be sure it doesn’t happen again, so that it doesn’t get worse.”
Arnold explained that she and Nedoroscik were “running the dance” when she “hopped on my foot and just rolled out on the outside edge.” She later posted on Instagram stories that her fellow pro Sasha Farber was “taking care of me” by cooking her dinner.
Fans will have to wait a little longer to see a new episode, as Dancing with the Stars won’t be on this week to make room for the vice-presidential debate. Instead, there will be a two-night event on October 7 and 8. The couples will each perform two dances that week.

What Scores Have Arnold, Nedoroscik Earned?
So far, Arnold and her partner, Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, have performed two dances in the ballroom. During the Season 33 premiere, they danced a Jive to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. The dance earned a combined score of 21 out of 30 from the judges.
In the second week of the competition, for Oscars Night, the pair danced a Paso Doble to “Superman (Main Theme),” earning a score of 22 from the judges. After the viewers at home voted, the pair was declared safe from elimination.
They’ll return for the two-night event later this month, performing dances themed to Soul Train and Hair Metal. Are you rooting for Arnold and Nedoroscik this season? Let us know in the comments below.
