Why ‘Dancing with the Stars’ 2024 Isn’t on This Week
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Dancing with the Stars fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see their favorite celebrities return to the ballroom. Season 33 of the show will not be on this week, as ABC makes room for the vice presidential debate.
Dancing with the Stars 2024 Won’t Be on This Week
So far, DWTS has aired two episodes of Season 33, and two celebrities were sent home in a double elimination on Oscars Night — Tori Spelling and Anna Delvey. Fans might expect the show to return on Tuesday, but that won’t be the case this week.
Although the show is taking the week off due to the presidential debate on Tuesday, it will be back with a two-night event on Monday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 8. Two episodes will air that week, with the couples dancing two different routines.
These episodes will also feature themes. The first night will pay tribute to Soul Train, while the second night will be all about hair metal. After the first elimination, only 11 couples remain in the competition. Fans will be able to watch the new episodes on either ABC or Disney+.
