Pop superstar Ariana Grande is starting a new chapter in her career. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter has signed with Brandon Creed’s recently launched Good World Management. Billboard revealed Grande’s new deal via sources close to the singer, on December 11.
Ariana Grande Signs With New Management Team
This move marks a major shift for the star, after nearly a decade with Scooter Braun’s SB Projects, which had managed Grande since 2013. For those who may not know, 2013 featured Grande’s skyrocket to fame, with her debut album Yours Truly. This album earned her first Top 10 Billboard 200 album and Hot 100 single “The Way” featuring Mac Miller.
Now, a decade later, Grande boasts one of the most impressive resumes in modern pop. She has logged six Top 10 Billboard 200 albums, including five number ones. On the Hot 100, she’s charted 73 entries total and 20 top tens — with seven hitting number one.
After her split from Braun’s company in August 2023, Grande began searching for new management that could bring fresh creative energy to her red-hot career. Industry insiders say Brandon Creed’s Good World Management stood out as a natural fit given his strong track record guiding superstar artists.
For his part, Creed is no stranger to managing world-class talents, having previously counted Bruno Mars and Lizzo among his clients. In July, Creed announced Good World Management with an impressive initial roster including Mark Ronson, Troye Sivan and Charli XCX. Creed also recently signed Demi Lovato and Normani to co-management deals, further bolstering Good World Management’s reputation as a go-to home for today’s top hitmakers.
While details remain sparse about Grande’s future plans, recent Instagram posts showed her hard at work in the studio, prompting palpable excitement from artists like Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, and SZA.
The posts sparked speculation that Grande’s long-awaited seventh studio album could soon materialize. Her most recent solo single, the chart-topping “Positions,” dropped over two years ago in late 2020. Fans surely hope new management might propel Grande’s return to the spotlight in 2023.
Ariana Grande Releases “Naughty Version” of “Santa Tell Me”
Following the news that Grande inked a deal with Good World Management, the singer released the highly anticipated “naughty version” of her 2014 holiday hit “Santa Tell Me.” On Monday, the singer dropped the song after years of anticipation.
The new, tweaked lyrics heat up the song, and bring a whole new life to it. The flirty new rendition marks Grande’s first release under Brandon Creed’s Good World Management after her split from Scooter Braun’s company back in August.
With the holidays nearing, Grande is no stranger to Christmas tunes. She has two holiday EPs in her discography already. Just this past weekend, she reunited with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson to perform their 2020 collab “Oh Santa!” during Carey’s Madison Square Garden concert.
