‘American Idol’ Winner Noah Thompson Teases New Single Releasing Soon

American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson has recently been teasing the release of his new single on Instagram. The singer suggested that the track, called “She Gets It from Me,” will be out soon. He even shared a preview of the song.
American Idol Winner Noah Thompson Teases New Song
A few days ago, Thompson posted a video singing along to the new song in his car. He asked fans to share what they thought and to stay tuned as he gears up to release new music.
“Got that temper from her daddy, her eyes from her mama,” Thompson sings on the track. “That tattoo on spring break down in Daytona / Got a curve in her words from growing up in Texas / Safe in her soul from that cross on her necklace.”
He goes on to describe what the subject of the song gets from him, including staying out late and liking good whiskey. As he sings on the chorus, “Every wish, every kiss / Yeah, she gets it from me / Day or night, rain or shine / Yeah, she gets it from me.”
Then on Wednesday, Thompson posted photos of himself getting his hair and makeup done, possibly on the set of a music video. He wrote in the caption, “When someone asks me if I have new music coming soon… y’all want my next single??” He added the hashtag #shegetsitfromme.

Thompson Recently Moved to Nashville
Thompson recently shared the news that he made the move from his hometown of Louisa, Kentucky, to Nashville, Tennessee. He’s posted several TikTok videos as he gets his new house ready.
Thompson has released two original singles so far. He put out “One Day Tonight” during his time on American Idol, and he later released the song “Make You Rich.” Thompson also put out a studio version of his cover of “Stay” by Rihanna.
The singer also shared the news on Instagram that he and Season 20 runner-up HunterGirl will be performing at the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, as they co-headline the Malloy Toyota Country Music Party on May 6. Fans can get tickets here.
