Meet Emil and Dariel, The Talented Cello Players on ‘AGT All Stars’

Emil and Dariel is a musical duo competing on America’s Got Talent All-Stars. Their cello-playing abilities will be showcased in all their glory as they play the instrument with full energy and enthusiasm.
The Duo are Expert Cello Players
When they competed on America’s Got Talent in season 9, Emil and Dariel were 16 and 13, respectively. At the time, they were the nation’s youngest cello pair to perform on a major platform. The brothers come from a long line of musicians, specifically classical musicians.
They began playing the cello when they were four years old since they were homeschooled. A year before they competed on AGT, their music was picked up by 2Cellos, globally known artists who shared Emil and Dariel’s videos on their social media accounts and praised their potential. They were known as 2Cellos Juniors and played as special guests on their US tour in Orlando and Tampa.
Emil and Dariel’s AGT journey began in 2014, when they played a version of Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze.” They were given “yes,” votes by Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel proceeding to the next round. They made it all the way to the Finals of the competition as part of the top 12, however, their AGT journey came to an end the same night.
The duo expressed many times that their grandfather, Leonid Rubanchik, has been the biggest inspiration to them. Emil and Dariel often spoke highly of their grandfather’s background as a highly renowned cellist from Russia. They wanted to perform on a “big stage,” for their grandfather because they believed he deserved to see them there.
Day to Day, They’re Dentists
The two followed their aspirations to become dentists in addition to their musical goals. Dariel went on to become well-known in the fields of cell and microbiology. In Lexington, Kentucky, Emil works as a dentist when he’s not practicing the piano.
Dariel went and graduated from Adams School of Dentistry according to his Instagram posts. The duo still plays the cello very frequently, and the skills they gained from playing at a young age has given them the chance to return on AGT All Stars.

Wow, I thought the cellist brothers were amazing. Simon was very rude to them and made them feel uncomfortable… Howie has told every constestant that they need to do better.. Really? Very unhappy with their perspectives and attitudes. The crew was right when they said ” Simon is grumpy” Simon and Howie cant you be nice? sheesh.
