Mariah Carey to Stream New Christmas Special ‘Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas To All’ on CBS, Paramount+

Mariah Carey is obviously never letting a year slip without some type of Christmas treat. The five-time Grammy winner is hosting a two-hour primetime concert special, entitled Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas To All. She also teased her potential collaboration with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
Mariah Carey Set to Star in a Two-Hour Live Holiday Concert
Apparently, Mariah Carey’s sold-out appearance at Madison Square Garden will be available for watching this Christmas. Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas To All will stream live on CBS and Paramount+ on December 20 at 8 PM ET/PT.
In a recent interview in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Queen of Christmas teased that people must “expect the unexpected.” Reflecting on the success of the concert, Carey didn’t take too much pride on the sales record, but rather on the bond she created with her fans.
“I realized that the best thing I could so is just talk to the fans, be with the fans, sing to the fans, with them. And it’s an inclusive experience,” she said.
At the time, Carey hasn’t fully announced that the concert will be on television. She just went on the describe that it was a festive and snowy event.
Before viewers could witness this primetime special, Carey will be performing for her two-day Christmas revue. Such will take place on December 11 in Toronto, Canada and December 13 in New York City.
She Says Her Team-Up With Millie Bobby Brown Is “Not Just Musical”
The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer also admitted that a creative collaboration with Millie Bobby Brown is in the works. In the interview, she hinted that the secret project could be beyond just a song.
“Maybe it’s not just musical. I don’t know. I can’t say what it is,” she said.
Brown once shared that Carey has become her mentor since she made friendship with the pop singer. According to Carey, she mostly talked to Brown about the music industry.
Some specifics about Carey’s life have been out in the open since she was young. Growing up in the spotlight, she could definitely impart a thing or more to Brown
“I was too young to even sign the thing in my own,” she said. “And I was like The one thing I will insist on is ‘You cannot make me do other people’s songs.’ That’s where I talk to Millie about stuff.”
No further details have been officially announced by both Carey and Brown regarding their collaboration. Meanwhile, Carey has just released her first ever holiday storybook, The Christmas Princess.
