This year, Mariah Carey is adding more magic to the spirit of the Christmas holidays. The singer is opening up the doors to her prestigious New York City Penthouse to two lucky guests.

Mariah Carey to Open Up Her Penthouse Apartment to Two Lucky Guests

The music icon recently teamed up with Booking.com to welcome two visitors for a very special stay at her Penthouse Apartment. For only $20.19, two guests will get to enjoy staying at Carey’s iconic Moroccan room.

In addition to the stay, the winners will also experience a planned schedule of Carey’s preferred winter activities. The reservation includes a Christmas card photo shoot at Carey’s luxury residence and cocktail hour.

The room itself opens up to a private terrace that has amazing skyline views. The winning couple will also get a three-night stay at The Plaza, a Fairmont managed hotel. They will also receive tickets to Carey’s Merry Christmas To All concert at Madison Square Garden.

A shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue is also included, as with dinner reservations at some of Carey’s favorite restaurants, including Nobu and Mr. Chow. There will also be a VIP reception in the historic Roxy Suite, a personal tour of Radio City Music Hall, and a chance to meet a Rockette. Fans can sign up for this experience on Booking.com.

She Revealed Why Christmas is Important to Her

Thanks to her 1994 smash single “All I Want for Christmas is You,” Carey has become a Christmas staple. Currently, Carey is recognized as the best-selling female artist of all time, having sold more than 200 million albums throughout her career.

In a 2020 interview, Carey discussed why Christmas is such a special time for her. She considers the holiday season as the only time she’s able to “breathe for a second.”

“After I kind of emerged from my first relationship-slash-marriage, I created the Christmases that I wanted to have.” Carey said. “A lot of very bad stuff happened to me when I was 12. But also, there is the spirit of that kid, that fighter who doesn’t give up, even though the world didn’t understand that from my point of view.”

Carey added her troubled childhood to further explain that her love for the holiday extends all the way back to her roots. As the “sad kid that wanted Christmas to be great,” Carey is definitely successful in delivering a memorable Christmas to all.
