Ken Jeong Performs Funny Song for ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Ken Jeong was a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show this week, and he took a moment to perform an original song he wrote for the show. He also discussed his guess that Hudson was Harp on The Masked Singer this season.
Ken Jeong Sings on The Jennifer Hudson Show
Jeong said appearing on The Masked Singer panel is “the best job ever,” because his fellow panelists will sing during commercial breaks. He compared it to a “music appreciation class.” Jeong also shared that he played piano and violin when he was younger.
That prompted Hudson to ask if Jeong would play something for the audience. The comedian sat down at the piano and shared an original song in which the only lyrics were, “We’ll be back with The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
Jeong performed the song in various styles, from high-pitched to growly. Hudson herself even joined in, and at one point Jeong started playing the piano with his elbows. The audience applauded the over-the-top performance.

Jeong Thought Hudson Was Harp on The Masked Singer
The Masked Singer Season 8 finale just aired this week, as Harp was named the winner and unmasked as Glee star Amber Riley. However, Jeong was insistent that Jennifer Hudson was under the mask all season long.
“I think it’s the power of mind think. It’s like, if you wish really hard, it will come,” Jeong told Hudson. “Ever since The Masked Singer started, I’ve always wanted to have you on the show. That’s legit, because you want to have the best singers, the best celebrities, the best icons.”
Jeong said he couldn’t “get off the train” of thinking Hudson was under the mask. However, he joked that he’s “the dumbest judge on The Masked Singer.” He added that he brings a lot of energy to the show “to compensate for my dumbness.”
He’s not always wrong, but his wild guesses do keep us entertained every week. This season, for example, Jeong was sure that the Lambs were the Kardashian sisters. They turned out to be Wilson Phillips.
