Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough took to social media over the weekend to remind fans that he won the show six times back when he competed as a pro dancer. Hough took a creative approach, spoofing Marvel’s Infinity Stones.
Derek Hough Brags About DWTS Wins in Marvel Parody
In the video Hough posted, he sits in a chair surrounded by six Mirrorball trophies. He lifts his arm, and the trophies come together to form a gauntlet on his hand. As he says, “I am… Dancing Man.”
Hough then snaps his fingers before standing up and doing a goofy dance to “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees. He credited Caleb Natale with helping him create the cool video, and he also tagged Marvel, Dancing with the Stars, and Disney+ in the post.
Hough won his first Mirrorball trophy with Brooke Burke in Season 7. He went on to win five more times over the years, with Nicole Scherzinger in Season 10, Jennifer Grey in Season 11, Kellie Pickler in Season 16, Amber Riley in Season 17, and Bindi Irwin in Season 21.

Hough Became a Judge in Season 29
Hough’s last season as a pro dancer was Season 23, when he was partnered with actress Marilu Henner, finishing in sixth place. He later rejoined the show as a coach in Season 29, replacing longtime judge Len Goodman.
Both Hough and Goodman returned to the judging table for Seasons 30 and 31, making it a four-judge panel with Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. The show is currently in its first season to stream live on Disney+ instead of its former home on ABC.
Just because Hough is a judge now doesn’t mean he doesn’t still dance on the show. Recently, he joined his fiancée Hayley Erbert in a dance to Michael Bublé’s song “Higher” during a night dedicated to the singer’s music.
