Top 24 Performances Continue With Celebrity Duets On ‘American Idol’ [VOTE]

The second half of the Top 12 performed on American Idol tonight and the episode was nothing short of incredible. The contestants sang solos and were also joined by celebrities to do All-Star Duets. Keep reading to find out how you can vote for your favorites.
You can vote for your favorites on the American Idol website. You can also download the American Idol app or text the number for the artist you want to vote for. You can vote 10 times per contestant per method. Voting is open until 6 am ET on Tuesday morning.

Jason Warrior
Jason Warrior kicked off the show singing “Call Out My Name” by The Weeknd. He then did a duet with Maroon 5’s PJ Morton singing “How Deep Is Your Love” by the Bee Gees.

Katy Perry said that she would like for Jason to take more risks. Luke Bryan called Jason’s performances “good ol’ fashion getting sweaty and dirty.”
Madison Watkins
Next up we had Madison Watkins who sang “Holy” by Justin Bieber for her solo performance. She got to sing “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing” by Stevie Wonder with her idol Tori Kelly. When it came to the duet Lionel Richie said Madison “nailed it.” Katy applauded them for taking the song up three notches.
Beane
Beane slowed down Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” for a new take on the song. He performed a duet of “Angels” by Robbie Williams with Josh Groban. “I would sign you,” Katy said to Beane. She complimented his runs and the arrangement of his solo song.
Hannah Everhart
Hannah Everhart performed Chris Stapleton’s “I Was Wrong” for her solo. She took on Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country” with the country star himself for their duet. Katy appreciated the risk-taking during the solo. Lionel told her to believe in herself more.
Mary Jo Young
TikTok star Mary Jo Young sang “Castle On The Hill” by Ed Sheeran for her solo. She got to perform a duet of “Foolish Games” with Jewel. Luke applauded Mary Jo for being her own artist. Lionel felt that her performances were “young and fresh.”
Chayce Beckham
Chayce took on “Afterglow” by Ed Sheeran for his solo. Chayce performed “Drive” by Incubus with band frontman Brandon Boyd. Lionel said that Chayce has a “magical voice” but advised him to look at the judges and the audience more. Luke thinks Chayce is just super cool.
Colin Jamieson
Colin performed an energetic rendition of “Locked Out Of Heaven” by Bruno Mars. Colin and Tori Kelly teamed up to sing her song “Hollow.” Katy said that Colin looks like he plays 300 tours a year. Luke likes how Colin just looks like he is having fun.
Liahona Olayan
Liahona Olayan performed “Just Friends” by Audrey Mika. She took on the emotional ballad “Say So” with PJ Morton. Luke thinks Liahona’s voice is “radio ready.” Lionel applauded how far she has come to make it to this point with her awesome duet.
Ava August
Ava August took on the viral hit song “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo for her solo. She performed a duet of “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell with Josh Groban. Lionel told her that she is singing far behind her age. Katy had her jaw opened throughout the whole performance. Luke said it was like watching Judy Garland perform.
Caleb Kennedy
Caleb Kennedy performed “Midnight Rider” by the Allman Brothers Band for his solo. Caleb performed “Fly Over States” without his guitar with Jason Aldean. Luke thinks his solo showcased him a little bit more than the duet. Lionel joked that Caleb has been possessed by an old seasoned countryman.
Hunter Metts
Hunter Metts took on the smash hit “Chandelier” by Sia with his guitar. Jewel joined Hunter for a duet of her song “Who Will Save Your Soul.” Lionel told Hunter that he needs to lean forward a bit more and hone in to his voice. Katy thinks Hunter has a bit of fear in his eyes and should be more confident in his unique voice.
Casey Bishop
Casey Bishop sang “Decode” by Paramore. Brandon Boyd joined Casey for a duet of “Wish You Were Here.” Lionel said that Casey is one of the “special ones” in the whole group of contestants. Katy wants to see Casey make the stage her “b*tch” and is purely confident that Casey will make it to the Top 16.
