Here’s Why ‘The Four’ Should Be Renewed For Season 3
FOX
So it’s no secret The Four hasn’t been doing the best when it comes to ratings throughout season two. But we can’t completely base the show’s future on ratings! The Four isn’t your typical show, it deserves a third season and I’m giving you guys MAJOR KEYS (as DJ Khaled would say) as to why it needs to be renewed.
Recently coming off one of their most watched shows this season, The Four‘s viewership ratings has been trending in a positive direction! Although, the numbers can always be better this is something the higher ups have to be pleased with as the decision to renew the show for another season approaches. And #TheFourComeback episode will definitely have viewers tuned in with the return of Zhavia & Evvie.
Social Media is the force that keeps The Four going. Being more popular than ever #TheFour is trending on Twitter every Thursday as well as other social media platforms. Judge DJ Khaled who has over 11 million Instagram followers as well as being one of the most popular celebrities on Snapchat has been heavily promoting the show since it’s been on air. His social media posts alone are opening the eyes of people who have never even heard of the show day by day and making it “trendy” alongside fellow co-host Sean “Diddy” Combs. With #TheFour‘s official Facebook page at nearly 2 million subscribers and the official Youtube page having nearly half a million subscribers, it’s quite obvious the show is in high demand among the people. Unlike other shows the judges are ALWAYS actively promoting the show, The Voice & American Idol judges should take notes… but hey no shade.
Social media aside, who doesn’t like seeing great unknown talent being judged by some of the biggest celebrities in the business today? On what other prime time show can a contestant show their talents rapping or singing? The talent you will find on the show is more diverse than any other show of it’s kind.
Having the audience in attendance voting on who should advance or not is basically the same as the music industry is today. Leaving it in the hands of the people to decide if something is great or not is the same as listeners streaming their favorite song boosting it straight up the charts.
Whether or not you agree that the show deserves another season based on the diversity of talent the show brings, you cannot deny the show and it’s impact across the social media outlets. Hopefully, the producers and executives of FOX will agree and hopefully the social media following can help the show continue to improve ratings for the show.
