4 Underrated Auditions From ‘AGT’ Season 14 That Never Made It To The Finals

AGT Season 14 had some amazing auditions from acts who went on to the finals. But there were also plenty of memorable auditions from acts who were eliminated earlier in the competition. Winning isn’t everything, and plenty of acts earned fans at home without necessarily going far on the show.
The America’s Got Talent YouTube page shared a video on Monday compiling four of the best auditions from Season 14. None of the acts featured made it to the finals, but they all made a positive impression on the judges and audience.
Check out the compilation video above, or check out each act’s audition individually (along with a little bit about each of them) below.
Eric Chien’s ‘AGT’ Audition
One year after magician Shin Lim won AGT with his amazing close-up magic act, Eric Chien brought his own brand of magic to the stage. His audition involved clever tricks involving changing playing cards and a changing vest. Howie told him he “looked more confused than any of us,” which he loved. Eric was eliminated in the semifinals.
Sophie Pecora’s ‘AGT’ Audition
This 15-year-old singer-songwriter performed an original song about her difficult experiences at school. The performance moved the judges. “You spoke to me,” Gabrielle told her, saying she has a “special gift.” Sophie went on to receive the Golden Buzzer from Brad Paisley in the Judge Cuts. She was eliminated in the quarterfinals after she lost the Dunkin’ Save.
Patrizio Ratto’s ‘AGT’ Audition
This Italian pianist brought a little something different to his audition. He began by playing a classical tune while wearing a tuxedo. Then he stood up and started break dancing. The crowd went wild for the performance, which Julianne called “very unexpected.” However, Patrizio didn’t make it past the Judge Cuts round.
Jackie Fabulous’ ‘AGT’ Audition
This funny stand-up comedian auditioned with a routine featuring stories about her mom, weight loss, and catching up with old friends. “Thank God for you,” Simon Cowell told her, and even gave her a kiss. She was saved in the Dunkin’ Save in the quarterfinals, but ended up being eliminated in the semifinals.
