Zhavia Shares ‘Bomb’ Vegan Cookie Recipe With Her Sister [VIDEO]
Former The Four star Zhavia Ward recently posted a video in which she and her sister bake vegan chocolate chip cookies. She shared the recipe with fans, saying the cookies are “bomb.”
Check out Zhavia’s baking video below to learn how you can make the cookies for yourself at home, and read on to find out more about what Zhavia has been up to lately.
Zhavia Makes Vegan Cookies With Sister
“I’m so excited to share this recipe with you, because they turn out so bomb, and we make them all the time,” Zhavia told fans in the video. She went on to share everything you need.
Ingredients include flour, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, cane sugar, vanilla extract, oat milk, coconut oil, and vegan chocolate chips. The sisters added the ingredients to a bowl, sharing exactly how much you’ll need.
At one point, the sisters laughed when Zhavia accidentally said the recipe called for “oatmeal” instead of “oat milk.” However, we wouldn’t object to some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies as a mix on the recipe.
Zhavia said the dough was “light and fluffy.” She put it into the freezer for 15 minutes before forming balls and heart shapes for the cookies. When they finally tasted them, Zhavia did a happy dance over how delicious they were.
What Has The Singer Been Up To Since ‘The Four’?
After finishing as a finalist on The Four: Battle for Stardom in 2018, Zhavia signed with Columbia Records. In 2019, she released an EP called 17. She also teamed up with Zayn to record a cover of “A Whole New World” for the Aladdin soundtrack.
Earlier this year, Zhavia said on Instagram that one of her goals for 2021 is to release new music. She’s also posted photos of herself in the recording booth, so new stuff might just be on its way.
She also said she wanted to “make more time for myself so my head space is always on point.” It looks like she’s doing just that by baking with her sister. Fans may be waiting for new music, but cookie recipes aren’t a bad alternative.
