You Can Be In Mommy’s Belly on ‘AGT’ And Still Become Famous

Remember Us the Duo from AGT Season 13? The couple was expecting a baby when they appeared on the show. That baby is now over a year old, and she has her own Instagram account!
Husband and wife Michael and Carissa Alvarado welcomed Xyla Rose Alvarado in October 2018. Carissa was pregnant with Xyla when they appeared on the show. With over 123,000 Instagram followers, it’s safe to say Xyla is pretty famous.
Meet AGT’s Us The Duo’s Baby Daughter Xyla
Xyla’s Instagram account is managed by her parents (“mama and dada,” as the description reads), although it would be pretty impressive if she posted the pics herself.

The most recent post is from last month, and it’s pretty exciting. It’s a video of Xyla walking happily toward the camera. “Update: I finally learned how to walk! Look out world, here I come!” reads the video’s caption.
There’s also a photo of Xyla dressed as a dog for Halloween. The account was started in April 2018, so you can follow the family’s journey all the way back to an early ultrasound. The AGT couple didn’t have a name for her back then, so they called Xyla “Us the Baby.”
Michael And Carissa’s ‘AGT’ Journey
Carissa was visibly pregnant when she and Michael performed in the live shows of AGT. In the quarterfinals, they performed an original song called “Like I Did With You,” which was about looking forward to meeting their daughter. They were eliminated after the semifinals.

The pair has released four studio albums, including a Christmas album called Our Favorite Time of Year in 2017. Before AGT, they gained a following on social media thanks to their Vine and YouTube covers of popular songs.
It will be fun to see if Xyla ends up being musical like her parents. Maybe she’ll play the … xylophone? Okay, I’ll show myself out.
