There is nothing more hurtful than being jilted by a lover. It’s even worse when the one that dumped you goes on to date a hotter, younger version of you. That’s happened to The X Factor UK when Olly Murs left to be a coach on The Voice UK. Simon Cowell isn’t speaking to Olly and is holding a big ‘ol grudge. But according to X Factor host Dermot O’Leary, the X Factor would be open to Olly coming back as a judge.
This, of course, in spite of the fact that Olly once took Dermot’s job for a while. But Dermot isn’t one to hold a beef with someone…he’s not Simon. Dermot says of an Olly,
“We feel like Olly’s one of ours, so you’d rather have him on X Factor than on a rival. I do think in the future Olly will become a good panel member, he’s done a really good job on The Voice.”
Guys, I think it’s time you let Olly go. He’s moved on and so should you. It’s unhealthy to live in the past. After all, if he really loves you he’ll be back. Like they say, if you love something set it free and all that.
