Dancing With The Stars pro Witney Carson is nothing less than grateful for the support she’s getting from her fans. The professional dancer recently announced her decision not to return for season 32 of the reality show.
Witney Carson Expresses Gratitude for Fans’ Support Amid Temporary DWTS Exit
Following the support for Carson’s decision to sit out of this season of DWTS, the dancer took the time to express her appreciation for followers. The DWTS pro uploaded a video showing her memories from season 32, followed by her special moments with her family.
“Thank you for all your kind words of support it means so much to me! I will miss dancing for you all every single week this season but I know it’s the right decision for me and my family right now. I love you all,” she wrote.
In late August, Carson revealed her decision to sit out of season 32, through a short video she posted on TikTok. At the time, the professional dancer explained that choosing to leave the show temporarily wasn’t something she “took lightly at all.”
“We definitely thought and prayed about it for a while, but we will not be doing Dancing With The Stars this season. And as much as that pains me to say, I just feel very at peace with it,” she said.
According to the dancer, her son Leo is at an age where he needs “consistency and dependability.” She continued, stating that she’s been trying to attend to Leo’s every need at the moment. Finally, the DWTS pro explained that she’s still not “mentally and physically ready for what the show calls for,” after giving birth to her younger son, Jet.

Now, Carson is taking the time to take care of, and bond with her children. On August 29, the professional dance shared that her oldest son Leo is officially in school.
“LEOS FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL. If you’ve been with me on this journey of motherhood you’re crying with me! I love you my sweet, smart first baby boy!” she wrote.
Carson shared a series of snaps on her Instagram, showing a Leo wearing his cheeky smile while holding a mini flag that says “1st Day of Preschool.” In the comments, fans shared their love for Leo, saying how happy they are with his newest milestone. Some followers also gave their support for Carson who’s obviously thrilled to send her firstborn to a new environment.
“He’s got this, you’ve got this! Grab yourself a coffee or something today and keep yourself busy, it’ll be pick up before you know it!” one user wrote.
