Witney Carson is Not Returning to ‘Dancing With The Stars’ for Season 32

Dancing With The Stars pro Witney Carson has recently confirmed that she’s not coming back to the show for season 32. Apparently, the professional dancer rather sees this year as an opportunity to bond with her family more, especially with her two sons.
Witney Carson is Not Returning to DWTS for Upcoming Season
Carson made sense of her decision through short video she most recently posted on TikTok. As admitted by the DWTS pro, leaving the show this upcoming season was a difficult choice.
“This was not a decision that we took lightly at all,” she said. “We definitely thought and prayed about it for a while, but we will not be doing Dancing With the stars this season. And as much as that pains me to say, I just feel very at peace with it.”
Carson went on and emphasized that family is “the most important thing” to her. With that as primary consideration, the professional dancer doesn’t see her family moving across the country so she could participate on DWTS.
“Leo’s at an age where he needs consistency and dependability, and he hasn’t had that ever since he’s been born. We’re just really trying to give him that right now,” she said. “I also feel like I’m not quite mentally and physically ready for what the show calls for.”
Back in season 31, Carson placed third with comedian Wayne Brady. During this stint as well, she announced her pregnancy with her second baby, Jet, in the Semi-finals.

She Assures Her Time in the Series in Not Yet Over
While Carson is not returning this season, she’s not entirely quitting the show. For now though, she wants to enjoy DWTS in the comfort of her home as a viewer.
“I love dance. That is my passion. And so this was definitely a hard decision, but I will be rooting for everybody on the show. I cannot wait to watch. I’m so excited,” she said.
Elsewhere in the video, Carson expressly clarified that she doesn’t have any plans to retire yet.
“I definitely think this is just a break. I hope it’s not a goodbye. But for now, we will be their number one cheerleader watching. Love you guys,” she said.
At present, Carson is clearly focused on being a mom to Leo and Jet. Last week, the DWTS pro went camping with her whole family. Carson uploaded a series on snaps on Instagram showing how they spent their weekend in the mountains. She also shared a video of her bonding moment with her first born where they created homemade popsicles together.
