The next season of Dancing With the Stars is right around the corner. With the new season starting so soon, the show has begun teasing and announcing their cast. Although there have been multiple celebrities officially announced, Witney Carson is the first professional dancer returning to the ballroom, with a twist!
Witney Carson Returns to DWTS While Pregnant With Third Child
On Monday, August 17, Witney Carson took part in Good Morning America, where she announced her celebrity partner of the year. Alongside the show, Carson announced personal life news as well. In a photobooth photo, featuring her, her husband, and two sons, Leo and Jet, the family can be seen posing with a sonogram photo.
“We’ve been keeping a secret… a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon! We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family,” Carson wrote on Instagram.

No other information regarding Carson’s pregnancy has been revealed at this time. The DWTS professional has not released her due date at this time. This is not the first time in the history of the show that a professional dancer has competed while pregnant. In the past, Allison Holker (Season 21), Peta Murgatroyd (Season 22), and Daniella Karagach (Season 31) have also competed while pregnant.
The Dancing With the Stars Family Shows Support for Carson
In the comments of Carson’s Instagram post, multiple Dancing With the Stars cast members and former celebrities can be seen celebrating the Carson-McAllister family.
