Dancing with the Stars Season 34 contestant Whitney Leavitt has announced that she’s returning to Broadway for a six-week run in the musical Just in Time later this year. Leavitt made her Broadway debut in Chicago earlier this year.
DWTS Star Whitney Leavitt Is Returning to Broadway
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt announced this week that she’ll be returning to Broadway later this year for a six-week run as Sandra Dee in the musical Just in Time. Leavitt will appear in the show from December 1, 2026, to January 10, 2027.
“I’m so excited,” Leavitt told People of her new role, adding of the possibility that she’ll extend her run in the show, “I don’t know what’s going to be going on in my life. But I’ll for sure at least be there for six weeks.”
Leavitt will be starring opposite Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan, who is currently performing in the show as the iconic singer Bobby Darin. Just in Time is performed at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City.

Leavitt Previously Starred in Chicago
After finishing DWTS Season 34 in sixth place, Leavitt made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago earlier this year. Her dance partner Mark Ballas starred opposite her as Billy Flynn for part of her time in the show. Leavitt’s three-month run broke the production’s box office record.
“I’m going to tell you right now, that cast and crew, it was a group effort to be able to do that because we all pushed really hard to market it,” Leavitt told People. “How can we find creative ways to get people to come and see the show? I’m so happy I got to be a part of that.”
As for how much longer Leavitt intends to perform on stage, she told the outlet, “I don’t really have plans on stopping, and I just want to keep going… I don’t plan on leaving the Broadway world anytime soon.”
