Will Brian Austin Green Finally Appear Alongside Girlfriend Sharna Burgess on ‘DWTS’?

If there is a couple that’s fully in love it’s Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green. Last season of Dancing with the Stars, it was rumored that The Masked Dancer judge would be competing on the show. Now as his romance with pro-dancer Burgess heats up, will he finally appear on the show?

The Dancing with the Stars professional Burgess dished to Parade about how she met Green. In the interview, she reveals that Green was supposed to be her partner for season 29 of the ABC show. The former 90210 star pulled out of the show before filming, allowing Hallmark’s Jesse Metcalfe to dance instead. Burgess and Green are now a solid couple, and it would have never come to be if he had competed that season.
“It’s definitely better that Brian wasn’t my dance partner on Dancing With the Stars because I don’t ever get romantically involved with my partners,” Burgess said in the interview. “For me, that is business; it’s work. It’s my passion. I want it to be perfect. And I think those that sometimes get personally connected in ways others than dance and friendships, it can overcomplicate matters. And so, I like to do a good job, and the dancing comes first.”
A Pandemic Love Story
The adorable couple solidified their bond through the pandemic. In December 2020, the two found happiness while on a PDA-filled vacation in Hawaii. Burgess reveals that their time in private together only made their relationship stronger. Although at times, she wanted to “scream from the mountaintops” and let the world know.
“That anonymity, that little secret that was just ours. We kept that for as long as we could,” she told US Weekly about dating in quarantine. “It was a different way of dating. We really took our time. We took four or five dates before we even kissed. It was truly about getting to know the human being, because that’s where we are both at in our lives. I’m not really dating for fun, I’m dating for serious. I want to get to know you on the inside.”
Most recently, the couple has teamed up to work together on a humanitarian project. Now, they are collaborating with one another on Trueheart’s #Search4Smiles Campaign. The organization helps provide children around the world with untreated clefts. Since its establishement, Trueheart has provided more surgeries and essential care than all other global charities combined.
Although this season’s Dancing with the Stars lineup has not yet been announced, our fingers are crossed we’ll get the chance to see this real life couple show their stuff on the dance floor.
