On one of Tomlinson’s previous posts, he can be seen commenting about tonight’s show. “It’s been 6 months since we played a show so I just watched this again,” he wrote. “I feel so incredibly lucky for what we have built! Tonight will be special!!”
Fans think, due to this comment, that Tomlinson has more than just a performance in the cards for tonight’s show. Some fans seem to believe Tomlinson will announce his third album during tonight’s show. While others are reminding that the singer said it would be a “big year ahead.”
He is Also Promoting His Clothing Brand 28
Tomlinson isn’t only booked and busy as a singer. He is branching out as an entrepreneur with clothing brand, 28. In a recent interview with Outlander Magazine, Tomlinson talked about the creative process for his brand, explaining that he likes looking through archive stores for inspiration, because he likes the style of old jackets.
When asked what’s been most challenging about starting a brand, Tomlinson admitted that starting anything new is the hardest part, but really now that he’s in it, he felt he should’ve done it sooner. Now, the One Direction singer is saying that clothes hold memories.
“There’s definitely a lot of clothes that I can, I’m sure if I went back and looked at them in my wardrobe,” he said. “It would almost be like looking back at my tattoos except for I might remember some of the memories.”
Tomlinson hopes the clothing brand will keep growing it’s aesthetic as well as its pieces. He explains that he doesn’t see creating the brand as much different than songwriting.
For those who may not know, the name of the clothing line was inspired by football, and during One Direction, he got signed with the Doncaster Rovers (his favorite team). The team at the time assigned him the number 28, so he ran with it, saying he’s “never really had a connection to numbers or anything like that, now that number reminds me of home.”
