Working with your boyfriend while getting paid great pocket change might sound ideal but our girl Gwen has a life beyond of the show and Blaky.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Gwen’s departure is the norm of the show, coaches come and go. For Stefani particularly, she is set to return to her Las Vegas residency, Just a Girl at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater, for its final dates in February 2020 and May 2020, which will coincide with The Voice‘s spring season.
NBC announced yesterday that Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend continuing on coaching the next season and, wait for it it! Nick Jonas will take Stefani’s chair in 2020.
Adam Levine is a stay at home dad now
After leaving ‘The Voice’, Levine spoke to Ellen De Generes about being a full-time parent to his and wife Behati Prinsloo‘s two daughters Gio Grace who is 19 months old and Dusty Rose, who is now 3. Gwen replaced Adam on The Voice this season btw!
“I do miss it, but I also don’t miss how much I had to work,” said Levine of his time on the hit NBC reality competition series. “I was just constantly working for so many years — very lucky, very fortunate, very blessed and all that, but [I wanted] to be able to spend time in this moment with my new, young family, and just have the greatest time ever.”
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
