Dancing with the Stars Season 32 has yet to announce its official cast, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating about which celebrities might be stepping into the ballroom. One of those celebrities is actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Fans Wonder if Jennifer Love Hewitt Will Do DWTS
Heavy points to a recent Reddit thread in which a DWTS fan shared that Hewitt and pro dancer Alan Bersten had recently tagged each other in Instagram stories. The fan speculated that Hewitt could be in talks to compete on Season 32.
Other fans chimed in with more context, including the fact that Hewitt is good friends with former DWTS contestant Amanda Kloots, who was paired with Bersten in Season 30. That could explain the connection there.
Hewitt currently stars on the TV series 9-1-1, which will be moving from FOX to ABC next season. One fan pointed out that it could be a good promotion for the show to have Hewitt on DWTS. However, her schedules might end up clashing, which could make competing difficult.
The actress has said in the past that she would love to compete in the ballroom. In 2019, she told Entertainment Tonight that she’s a fan of the show, saying she would join the cast “the second they ask.”

Derek Hough Recently Commented on Another Rumor
Hewitt isn’t the only celebrity whose name has been brought up in connection with Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars. Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix has also been rumored to be joining the show next season.
Recently, TMZ caught up with DWTS judge Derek Hough to ask him what he thought about Madix possibly joining the show. Although he wasn’t too familiar with the recent Vanderpump scandal, he was all for the reality star possibly heading to the ballroom.
“Why not? If people are interested in it, that’s what it’s about,” Hough said. “It’s about what people want to see. That’s the most important thing, so if you say it’s a thing right now, then why not? I say, happy to have her.”
