The Voice is set to return to NBC this fall with the show’s milestone Season 30. At this time, only one coach has been announced for the season, Maroon Five frontman Adam Levine. Here’s who we’d love to see alongside Levine on this season.
Who Should Join The Voice Season 30 as a Coach?
A milestone season deserves a milestone cast. There have been a crazy amount of celebrity coaches to take the big red chair, yet only three can be picked to be alongside Levine.
Miley Cyrus
One of the most underrated coaches ever on The Voice is Miley Cyrus. The singer took the coaching panel extremely seriously, showing off her ability to understand every song genre, as well as what individual artists strive to be. Since she was just national news for the Hannah Montana anniversary special, it’s possible she’s looking to stay in the news right now.
Niall Horan
It’s no secret that One Direction member Niall Horan has recently become a fan favorite on The Voice. He’s appeared on, and won Season 23 (Gina Miles), Season 24 (Huntley), and Season 28 (Aiden Ross). Since Horan was on a competition show himself, it’s hard to not love him. He has such a different approach to coaching since he’s been in his artists’ positions before.
Blake Shelton
There’s absolutely no way around it, The Voice legend Blake Shelton should return to the judging panel in Season 30. Although the country singer has admitted he doesn’t want to return to the series, a milestone season won’t be the same without him.
Honorable Mentions:
Jennifer Hudson
Though it would be absolutely amazing to see Hudson return to The Voice coaching panel, fans are currently hoping to see her return as a judge on American Idol. She also recently returned to this show as a Battle Advisor for Kelly Clarkson on Battle of Champions. We don’t think that Hudson’s return is out of the picture entirely, but rather, unlikely.
Gwen Stefani
We would absolutely love seeing Stefani’s return alongside her husband, Blake Shelton. Her return to the coaching panel seems unlikely due to her upcoming Las Vegas residency.
Kelly Clarkson
Although we’re a forever fan of Kelly Clarkson, it’s extremely unlikely she’ll return to The Voice. The American Idol winner recently decided to leave her NBC talk show to be closer to her children following the loss of their father. Though The Voice is typically a short filming schedule, it seems unlikely she would be willing to return during this time.
Chance The Rapper
Chance The Rapper is another underrated The Voice coach in my opinion. Though his time on the series was quite short, he quickly showed off his skills on the show. He often knew exactly what to say to artists to get them to show off. One of his most impressive moments was with girl group Sorelle, when he asked them to harmonize.
Will you be watching The Voice Season 30? Who do you think will be on the coaching panel alongside Adam Levine? Let us know on X!
