Who Is Morgan Wallen’s Rumored Girlfriend Megan Moroney?

Dating rumors have swirled around The Voice alum Morgan Wallen and fellow country star Megan Moroney since last year. Moroney recently spoke out about the situation, saying the rumors made her “really uncomfortable.”
Megan Moroney Responds to Morgan Wallen Dating Rumors
Last September, Moroney released a song called “Tennessee Orange.” In a promotional image for the track, she can be seen wearing a Tennessee Volunteers T-shirt. Wallen, who is a fellow Volunteers fan, commented on the post and later released a song of his own called “Tennesee Fan.”
Fans wondered if the shirt Moroney wore in the photo belonged to Wallen. A concertgoer even asked him if it was his shirt on a poster, and Wallen marked “yes.” In November, Moroney confirmed that it was indeed his shirt in an interview with SiriusXM’s The Highway.
“The Highway interview, everyone I think saw it as me being trying to be sly, but I’m like, I’m actually just having a panic attack,” Moroney told People. “I was honestly shocked that I even said that it was his shirt, but I guess since he had already confirmed it with the poster thing that he did, I was like, ‘Sure, yeah, it’s his shirt.’”
When it comes to questions about who her songs are about, Moroney said, “I’m not the kind of person that likes to talk about things like that.” She said the “Tennessee Orange” situation taught her to never “hint at who my songs are about.”

Moroney Recently Won Her First CMT Award
Moroney released her first single, titled “Wonder,” in 2021. She followed that up with an EP called Pistol Made of Roses in 2022. Later that year, she released “Tennessee Orange,” which debuted at No. 94 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In May, Moroney released her debut album Lucky, featuring 13 songs including “Tennesee Orange.” She’s set to kick off her Lucky Tour in September of this year, with dates running into December.
This year, Moroney was nominated for two CMT Music Awards. She ended up winning the award for Female Breakthrough Video of the Year. She was also nominated for New Female Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards this year.
