It has been nearly 17 years since Susan Boyle broke the internet on Britain’s Got Talent. Now, the singer is 65 years old and teasing her next era in the music industry. Here’s what she’s up to in 2026.
Susan Boyle Teases News in Instagram Bio
In May 2026, Susan Boyle broke the internet when she debuted her brand new look. The 65 year old singer stunned with a bright blonde blunt, shoulder length haircut, veering away from her natural brunette look.
This look was the first hint that Boyle was teasing her next era, and it has truly kept fans guessing about what’s next. On June 19, 2026, she released her newest single “Just One Cornetto (ReMAXed).”
Nearly seventeen years ago, Boyle stepped on the Britain’s Got Talent stage, not knowing that she was about to make history. As soon as she appeared on stage, judges seemingly criticized her looks. They even made fun of her for saying she hoped to be as big as Elaine Paige.
Boyle didn’t let the nerves get to her as she performed “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. Judges immediately knew they were too soon to judge a book by it’s cover. Piers Morgan even called this audition “the biggest surprise I have had in the three years of this show.”
Boyle finished the season out in second place behind Diversity. She went on to release albums “I Dreamed a Dream,” “The Gift,” “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs From The Stage,” “Home For Christmas,” “Hope,” and “A Wonderful World.”
Boyle recently opened up in 2023 about suffering a minor stroke and having to re-learn how to sing. Due to this, fans expect her upcoming releases to sound different from those of the past.
