Duo attempts dangerous escapist act that nearly goes horrifically wrong on BGT: Unseen
The daredevil duo, Li Lau & Brendon recently appeared on BGT: Unseen to perform one of the show’s most dangerous stunts. Combining the skill of escapism with the talent of solving Rubix cubes, this audition is enough to keep you up at night. What’s even scarier, is how close it was to turning south.

The two performed an engaging stunt that followed a rather simple premise. As Li Lau escaped from the handcuffs and chains that attached him to the chair, an automatic crossbow was pointed towards him. The crossbow’s firing lever was then attached to a scale. If the right-hand side of the scale visibly had more weight, the level would trigger. Weighing down the left-hand side of the scale were the Rubix cubes, solved by Brendon.
Whilst the two were in no way injured during the stunt, the most shocking aspect of the entire performance was how close Li Lau was from being shot in the head by a crossbow.
Unfortunately, the performance has gone wrong in the past. The National Arts Festival released a statement last year, claiming Li Lau was shot in the head with the crossbow at the event.
Fans aren’t liking Britain’s Got Talent’s new online spin-off show for THIS reason
Li Lau and Brendon’s performance was just one of many acts to appear on new online spin-off show, BGT: Unseen. This new show replaces the former spin-off, BGMT hosted by Stephen Mulhern.

BGT: Unseen aims to attract more young people and hopefully reach a larger audience. As for Mulhern, his time on the show has come to an abrupt end and fans aren’t happy. The new show now features predominantly the main show hosts, Ant & Dec.
One user responded to the news saying, “Can we all collectively agree to boycott this new #BGT Unseen show until they bring Stephen Mulhern back where he rightfully belongs? #BGMT”
“As if things weren’t hard enough, just got mega excited for more talent to find out it’s been axed WTF is going on !!! @StephenMulhern #BGMT,” tweets another.
