Simon Cowell on 'America's Got Talent' 2025

Britain’s Got Talent has shared an early release audition from this week’s new episode of Series 19, featuring saxophone player Sergey Stepanov. Judge KSI was blown away when he realized Sergey was the “Epic Sax Guy” from a viral meme that he recreated.

Epic Sax Guy Auditions for BGT in Early Release

Sergey Stepanov introduced himself to the judges as being from Moldova. He then ran off stage to retrieve his saxophone, at which point judge KSI began to recognize him. When he started playing, KSI realized that Sergey was Epic Sax Guy himself.

Unfortunately, not all the judges were as impressed as he was, as both Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell pressed their red buzzers. KSI was so excited, he couldn’t stay in his seat. He absolutely lost it when an old video clip of him playing the saxophone was played behind Sergey on stage.

His fellow judges were thoroughly confused by what just happened. KSI explained that he was inspired by Epic Sax Guy’s viral saxophone performance to make a funny video of his own. Amanda Holden said Sergey was “so funny” and had “great energy,” so she voted “yes” to sending him through. KSI also gave him “the easiest yes.”

Even though Dixon pressed her red buzzer, she voted “yes” because she’d never see KSI “so happy” before. Cowell seemed uncertain, but when KSI promised to join Sergey for his next performance, he also voted “yes.”

Aerial Act Wows the Judges

BGT shared another, shorter early release clip from this week’s new episode of Series 19, featuring an aerial performer named Mizuki Shinagawa. Her dramatic aerial silks routine, set to “Tattoo” by Loreen, captivated the judges.

We’ll have to wait until the new episode airs this Saturday night at 6:45 p.m. on ITV1, ITVX and STV, to find out what the panel thought of Mizuki’s performance. There will also be plenty of other auditions to enjoy during the show.

There are still several episodes of auditions left before the Series 19 Semifinals kick off on April 25. What do you think of this year’s BGT competition so far? Let us know in the comments below.
