Vanessa Hudgens Taps into Her Supernatural Powers in Documentary ‘Dead Hot’

Vanessa Hudgens is awakening her supernatural abilities through new documentary Dead Hot: Season of the Witch. Travelling to Massachusetts, the High School Musical star is set to uncover enchanting mysteries, ultimately immersing viewers into the spiritual world.

Back in October 2022, Hudgens announced that she and her close friend GG Magree will be visiting the city of Salem to discover horror-focused stories. Both women have taught themselves basic witchcraft, performing basic spells when they were kids. Hence, Dead Hot is not only a spiritual experience but also a real and personal journey for the two.
“An intimate journey into the supernatural realm that serves as a coming-of-age story that explores identity, feminine power and sisterhood,” the movie’s Instagram page reads.
According to the president of Bunim-Murray Productions Julie Pizzi, Dead Hot is “so emotionally raw” that it created a fascinating narrative. She further stated that the new documentary is a lot about female empowerment.
The unscripted feature began airing this Friday, April 14, 2023. The same comes exclusively to free streaming service Tubi. According to Tubi, Dead Hot is set to “enthrall audiences of all ages.”
She Claims She Can See, Hear Ghosts
Detailing her mystery experiences when she was a child, Hudgens said that she’s acknowledged her connection to the supernatural world. In her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the actress claimed that she’s had several paranormal encounters in the past.
“I’ve accepted the fact that I see things and I hear things,” she said. “I kind of shut it down for a while [because] the unknown is scary. But I recently was like, ‘No, this is a gift and something that I have the ability to do, so I’m going to lean into it.’”
She then recalled that back when she was eight years old, a toy duck walked in itself and followed her when she started strolling in the dining room. She also claimed that she and Magree used to playfully hang out with a friendly ghost before. Having these experiences as kids, Dead Hot shall expectedly showcase an authentic Vanessa Hudgens.
