American Idol alum Tori Kelly and singer Pink Sweats shared a video teasing their upcoming collaboration. Their effortless mix of beautiful vocals in the video already has fans dying to hear more.
It’s always a good day when Tori Kelly has a new song up and coming. On January 13, the two-time Grammy Award winning artist shared a video with Pop singer/songwriter Pink Sweats. Within the caption of the video, the singers shared that they have a collaboration that is ready to drop. Fans are eager to hear the rest of “REAL THING” by Pink Sweats featuring Kelly.
This video exposes the lyrics behind the up and coming song. They’re extremely intimate, to the point where a fan shared that “REAL THING” will be on their wedding playlist.
“You make me feel like heaven is a real place / I’ll bet on us cause I know it’s the real thing / You make me feel like heaven ain’t so far away / got the real thing / with you I know I got the real thing,” the two sing in this video.
I honestly got excited for what’s to come after hearing their beautiful vocals. This video premiered a beautiful, effortless harmony. Pink Sweats and Tori are sat next to each other on the couch singing their newest tune. It’s unclear where the artists are within this video, but it doesn’t seem to be a traditional recording studio. The end of the video shows Kelly running off camera. The camera then pans toward a ping-pong table and two dogs.

Who is Pink Sweats?
This video was posted on to Pink Sweats’ account, but was also shown on Tori’s because of the new dual creator feature on Instagram. For the fans that may not know, Pink Sweats is an emerging pop artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he had a three year battle with Achalasia, which is failure of smooth muscle fiber to relax. This condition is most common in the esophagus. His recovery from this disease is what inspired him to attempt music as a full time job.
Pink Sweats began making music at 19 years old as a demo vocalist at Sound Stigma Studios. During his time as a demo vocalist, he found his love of songwriting. He has produced different genres of music for rapper Tierra Whack and country group Florida Georgia Line.
In 2018, he released his first single called “Honesty.” At its peak, this song reached No. 10 on Spotify’s U.S. viral chart. Since then, this artist has released other singles and even an album. In March 2021, he performed song “At My Worst” featuring Kehlani with the singer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
