This Weekend’s ‘X Factor UK’ Twist and Theme Leaked
ITV Last week’s theme was ‘Viva Latino‘ which was dumb and offensive, but this weekend it was revealed that the theme will be the music of the late great George Michael. I can’t wait to hear Grace Davies sing Careless Whispers. But that’s not all. They will also be doing a double elimination.

The leak probably came from the show itself to try and gain interest and boost their sagging ratings. George Michael is a great choice. Not only do you have to really know how to sing to hit those notes, but you can’t get a more quintessentially British artist than George. Maybe Elton John, but whatever. But the double elimination will be interesting. Double the amount of people going home certainly ups the drama value. It will be interesting to see if this makes any kind of difference in the numbers.
I love George Michael. He comes on the radio when I’m driving and I crank it up and sing along. Luckily, I won’t subject anyone to that. But these people on The X Factor can sing so it’s all good.
