If you didn’t get a chance to see Theater Camp (featuring AGT alum Luke Islam) when it was first released, you might be happy to learn that the movie is getting a digital release next month. You’ll even be able to stream it for free if you have a Hulu subscription.
Theater Camp Is Getting a Digital Release
America’s Got Talent Season 14 contestant Luke Islam appears in Theater Camp, starring Dear Evan Hansen‘s Ben Platt. The movie was released in theaters earlier this summer, and now it’s going to digital.
Theater Camp will be available to stream on Hulu starting September 14. The movie will also be available to buy digitally starting on that date through major platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu. This will include exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
The movie is about two friends (played by Platt and Molly Gordon) who work as drama instructors at a failing theater camp in New York. They fight to put on an amazing show as the founder’s son (Jimmy Tatro) takes over while his mother is in a coma.
Luke Islam, who earned the Golden Buzzer from former AGT judge Julianne Hough and later returned for AGT: The Champions, appears in the film as Christopher L, one of the camp’s young attendees.
