Many people love the song “Diamonds” by Rihanna because of its positive message. The Voice fans loved this song for Team Kelly’s Gymani for a different reason. The singer shared a cover of this song on YouTube in 2018, so fans asked her to bring back the magic.

Gymani Fans Choose Her Previous YouTube Cover Song for The Voice

This week on The Voice is the Top 11, but it is also Fan Night. During this theme, fans chose the songs each contestant performed. This week, fans of Gymani decided to give her a throwback tune for her performance. After almost getting eliminated last week, Gymani wasn’t messing around. She performed this song similar to her “pov” blind audition.

Her flawless rendition of “pov” is what made her a frontrunner in the competition, so this live performance will definitely bring in votes for her. By the end of her song, every coach was seen standing over their chairs. This was a total repeat of her blind audition in the best way possible.

“Rihanna is such an incredibly hard artist to cover, she’s one of the most incredible pop artists and I just think you did a beautiful job of making it your own and honoring it at the same time,” said coach Ariana Grande. “You sound incredible and you yourself are shining like a diamond it was beautiful all around.”

Grande would know first-hand how Gymani is able to arrange a piece to be beautifully her own, while also staying true to the tune. Coach Kelly Clarkson was stunned by this singer’s performance. Clarkson shared that she felt like she was no longer at The Voice. She instead felt like she was at Gymani’s show.
