‘The Voice’ Winners Girl Named Tom Featured on New Song ‘Every Story’

The Voice winners Girl Named Tom are featured on a new song by Mick Dimitri called “Every Story.” The sibling trio has been busy since they appeared on the talent competition last year, as they’ve been touring around the country and recording new music.
Girl Named Tom Featured on Song ‘Every Story’
Dimitri teased the new song on Instagram earlier this month, writing that it’s the result of “almost two years of work.” He added, “It’s crazy to think about how far we’ve come since we first met, and though the road has been rocky at times, it was all damn worth it.”
“Every Story” is a haunting track that opens with Girl Named Tom singer Bekah Liechty’s ethereal voice, backed by a piano. “Every story has an ending / Every story has to end,” she sings to start. “Have I begged you or have I not? / Have you wept or have you not?”
The song comes with a music video featuring animation by Carla Ikom, with art and design by César Serrano. The video comes from a story by Dimitri, who wrote the script with Fernando Méndes Arroyo. The clip features mostly black and white imagery, until the end, when red is introduced.

The Band Is on Tour This Summer
Girl Named Tom recently announced new tour dates for this summer, running from June to September. They’ll be visiting various cities around the country, including Memphis, New York City, and Boston. You can find out more on their website.
The group also recently posted on Instagram that they spent a week in the recording studio in Los Angeles. After their Season 21 The Voice win on Team Kelly, they teased that they had an album in the works. Fingers crossed it comes soon.
