‘The Voice’ Winners Girl Named Tom Announce First Post-Show Single

The Voice Season 21 winners Girl Named Tom shared an exciting announcement this week, as they prepare to release their first new single since they finished the show. The new track is called “What a View.”
The Voice Winners Girl Named Tom Announce New Single
On Thursday, the sibling trio took to Instagram to share a photo of the three of them smiling. In the post’s caption, they wrote, “ELATION!!! our first post-Voice single ‘What a View’ will be released Aug 25!” They tagged their label, Republic Records.
While this may be the first single the group has put out since their win on the show in 2021, it’s not the first music they’ve released in that time. Last year, they released an EP titled One More Christmas, which featured both covers and originals.
The group encouraged fans to pre-save the upcoming new song ahead of its release and spread the news among their friends. They added that they’re “sooo excited” to share the new track later this month.
Girl Named Tom competed on Season 21 of The Voice on Kelly Clarkson’s team. They ended up becoming the first group to ever win the show. Before The Voice, the siblings released the album Hits from the Road in 2021.

The Group Has Been Teasing New Music
Girl Named Tom has been teasing new music for quite some time now. Back in May, they shared a snippet of a song they were working on, although it’s unclear if it was from the newly announced single.
Then in July, the group shared that they were in the studio, writing, “Too many cooks, maybe, but the sausage is gettin’ made and it’s gonna blow your mind.” Hopefully this means an album announcement isn’t too far off.
Looking back on the group’s Instagram account shows that they were even teasing the new single’s title. The siblings used the phrase “what a view” in a few of their recent posts. It was a fun way to foreshadow this week’s announcement.
