‘The Voice’ Top 17 Perform for Your Vote in the Live Playoffs

The Voice Season 20 continued with the first live show of the year on Monday night. The Top 17 performed one song each for America’s vote in the Live Playoffs.
The show began with the reveal of which artist won the Four-Way Knockout. The singers who were saved by their coaches in the Battles fought for a spot in the live shows. Ultimately, viewers chose Devan Blake Jones from Team Nick.

Voting was open at the start of Monday’s episode, and closes on Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. ET. Viewers can vote on the show’s website or via The Voice app. You can vote up to 10 times per artist, per voting method. The Top 9 artists will be decided in Tuesday night’s results show.

1. Corey Ward (Team Kelly)
Corey sang “Bruises” by Lewis Capaldi for his first live performance of the season. Nick Jonas told him he has “so much passion” in his performances. Kelly Clarkson said Corey exudes emotion and always makes her cry.
2. Gihanna Zoë (Team Kelly)
This young singer performed “Always Remember Us This Way” by Lady Gaga. John Legend told her she was channeling Beyoncé. Clarkson told Gihanna that she does things with her voice that she can’t do herself. She added that she has “the biggest voice” on the show.
3. Zae Romeo (Team Kelly)
This singer, who was stolen from Team Nick, performed “When I Look at You” by Miley Cyrus. Clarkson told Zae that he’s a “beautiful mix” of his teammates Corey and Gihanna. She added that she had never heard the song before, and praised his choice.
4. Kenzie Wheeler (Team Kelly)
This singer performed “Red Dirt Road” by Brooks & Dunn. Blake Shelton shared that he regrets saying he thought Kenzie would win the show, because it was “used against me.” Clarkson, meanwhile, told Kenzie that she can’t wait to hear his original songs.
5. Ryleigh Modig (Team Legend)
This singer, who was stolen from Team Kelly, performed “Driver’s License” by Olivia Rodrigo. Legend told Ryleigh that she put “so much heart and soul and sadness and beauty and emotion” into the performance.
6. Zania Alaké (Team Legend)
This singer performed “Dangerous Woman” by future The Voice coach Ariana Grande. Legend said Zania showed “extra-level star power” with this performance, praising her confidence.
7. Pia Renee (Team Legend)
Pia performed “Need U Bad” by Jazmine Sullivan. Shelton said it was the best Team Legend performance so far during the night. Legend said he loved watching her “fully blossom,” saying she gives it all during her performances.
8. Victor Solomon (Team Legend)
This singer performed “I Wish” by Stevie Wonder, and had the coaches on their feet and dancing. Legend called it “flawless,” complimenting his physical energy and charisma during the performance.
9. Dana Monique (Team Nick)
Dana performed “Free Your Mind” by En Vogue. The coaches gave her a standing ovation, and Clarkson threw things at her. Clarkson said her dream is to sing backup for someone like Dana, adding that she’s her “spirit animal.” Jonas said she “blew that out of the park.”

10. Andrew Marshall (Team Nick)
This singer, who was stolen back by Jonas from Team Blake, performed “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae. Jonas called Andrew a star, praising his journey on the show and saying he gave it his all.
11. Jose Figueroa Jr. (Team Nick)
Jose performed “Talking to the Moon” by Bruno Mars. Legend said he has “a special gift,” calling his tone “spiritual.” His coach Jonas called this Jose’s best vocal performance on the show so far.
12. Devan Blake Jones (Team Nick)
This Four-Way Knockout winner performed “Shape of My Heart” by the Backstreet Boys. Jonas pointed out that Devan was a one-chair turn, sharing how impressed he is with his journey on the show so far.

13. Rachel Mac (Team Nick)
This singer performed “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves, and ended the performance in tears. Shelton said Clarkson and Legend’s team need to “go back to the drawing board” after Team Nick’s performances. Jonas called Rachel a “special artist” who was “born for the stage.”
14. Jordan Matthew Young (Team Blake)
This singer performed “Gold Dust Woman” by Fleetwood Mac, earning a standing ovation from all four coaches. Clarkson said he’s “way too cool to be on Blake’s team.” Shelton called him “a breath of fresh air.”
15. Anna Grace (Team Blake)
This singer, who was stolen from Team Kelly, performed “Let Her Go” by Passenger. Shelton said no one has sung like Anna during Monday night’s show. He said he couldn’t believe he got the chance to work with her.
16. Pete Mroz (Team Blake)
This singer performed “We Belong” by Pat Benatar. Shelton said Pete has a special place in his heart, since they used to be bandmates. He added that Pete has the “same raw talent and passion for singing” that he had back then.
17. Cam Anthony (Team Blake)
Cam performed “Take Me to Church” by Hozier. Legend said he was heartbroken that Jonas blocked him from getting Cam on his team during the Blind Auditions. Shelton said Cam has “delivered” every time he performs, sharing how much people ask about him.
Don’t forget to vote for your favorite artists before the window closes at 7 a.m. ET on Tuesday. One artist from each team will be chosen by America’s vote. The coaches will also each choose an artist to move on. The final spot in the Top 9 will be decided by Tuesday night’s Instant Save vote.
