Andrew Marshall Competed on The Voice Season 20
Marshall auditioned for Season 20 of The Voice with a performance of John Mayer’s “Gravity.” Coach Nick Jonas was the only one who turned his chair, so Marshall automatically joined his team. In the Battles, he was stolen by Blake Shelton, before Jonas stole him back in the Knockouts.
The singer, who was 21 at the time of his audition, made it to the Live Playoffs as part of the Top 17. He performed “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae. Unfortunately, Marshall was eliminated at this point and didn’t get to move on in the competition.
As he shared on the show, Marshall was diagnosed with leukemia at age 16. He received treatment for three years and was in remission by the time he auditioned for The Voice. Thanks to Make-A-Wish, Marshall was able to meet John Mayer.
