‘The Voice’ Season 24 Alum Dead at 24 Years Old

The Voice family is currently mourning the loss of Dylan Carter, who competed on Season 24 (2023). He was only 24 years old at the time of his demise.

Dylan Carter Dead at 24 Years Old

News of Carter’s demise broke on the morning of April 27, 2026. TMZ broke the news, saying that local reports support Carter passed away on Saturday night. At this time, specifics are unknown.

“Our family is heartbroken to hear about the passing of Dylan Carter in a car accident… His kindness and charm earned him immense respect, and his absence will be deeply felt,” a member of the community posted. “The Town of Moncks Corner, its council, and entire staff extend their deepest sympathies. He was much more to our family than an entertainer he was our friend and deeply saddened.”

Carter auditioned for the show in 2023, when he sang “I Look to You” by Whitney Houston. The audition was

He was a four-chair turn and ultimately ended up joining Team Reba for his time on the series. In the Battle Round, he performed “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson with Tom Nitti. Ultimately, McEntire chose Tom as the winner of the battle, eliminating Carter.

After being eliminated, Carter posted a lengthy Instagram caption, saying that he gave his all on the stage.

“I did feel very defeated after losing my Battle, but it did not take me long to realize that I actually didn’t lose anything, instead I gained EVERYTHING!” he said at the time. “I came to The Voice unsure of myself, unsure of my future, and still grieving the loss of my mom. I left LA with confidence in myself and my future, with a sure purpose as to why I was put on this Earth, and with peace of mind moving on from my mom’s death.”

Carter released five songs ahead of his demise. His most popular song was his 2024 single “Lucky to be Your Daughter.”

At this time, his The Voice coach has not commented on his demise.
