Kenzie Wheeler ,runner up this season on, The Voice has officially signed to Five 5 Studios, exactly three months after the competition concluded. The Voice fan favorite is ready to cement his place in the world of country music.
Kenzie has been quite busy since The Voice concluded in May. He’s performed at live shows, visited local television stations, and even sang the national anthem at a baseball game. He’s racked in quite a bit of success since the show, and it doesn’t seem like that’ll be ending anytime soon after this recent announcement.
“Happy to say I’ve officially signed to @five5studios! I look forward to working with this team and showing you guys some cool things we’ve got cookin’ up for y’all! #dangright,” Wheeler wrote in an announcement on Instagram.

As the show’s runner up, Kenzie did not receive a recording contract with Universal Music Group. But, he is now signed to Five 5 Studios, a Tampa, Florida-based record label. Five 5 Studios signs bands, DJs, and musicians. They’ve also been awardedGrammy certified Platinum seven times.
This signing was hinted at a few weeks ago when Wheeler posted a photo at Five 5 studios. Although he could have just been there for a collaboration of some type, we now know that he is signed to this label, and clearly got right to work.
Kenzie will be performing in Dallas at the Dallas Bull in late August. Fans can still expect the rising country star to jump into the recording studio before then.
