The Voice is joining the Metaverse this month, inviting fans to participate in the upcoming 2022 Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival. Participants can take part in a virtual Blind Audition that could win them a prize.
The Voice Heads to the Metaverse for Music Festival
This year’s Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival will take place from Thursday, November 10, to Sunday, November 13. The event will feature a game in which The Voice fans can appear in front of “Metaverse Coaches” and collect “notes” in the hope of earning a chair turn. You could even win a collectible.
Other features of The Voice experience during the festival include taking selfies with the Season 22 coaches (John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello, and Blake Shelton) and the iconic spinning red chair.
The Voice has always pushed boundaries starting with the first-of-its-kind Blind Auditions that empowered people to feel valued for who they are, not what they look like,” said Justin W. Hochberg, CEO of the Virtual Brand Group. “Creating our first Metaverse experience with Decentraland is the logical next iteration of that global fan journey.”
