A contestant on The Voice: Celebrity has reportedly dropped out of the competition, causing “chaos” behind the scenes. Season 31 of the singing competition will feature celebrities as contestants for the first time ever.
The Voice: Celebrity Contestant Drops Out of Show?
It was recently announced that Season 31 of The Voice, which is currently in production, will feature celebrity contestants. According to The Sun, one of those contestants has unexpectedly quit the show, causing backstage drama.
The contestant in question is reportedly TikTok star Bella Poarch. After making it through the Blind Audition round, Poarch reportedly left the competition just days before the Battle round, causing “chaos” for producers behind the scenes.
Because each of the coaches’ teams is supposed to feature a specific number of artists, the producers were tasked with adjusting things so the teams would be even before the Battles. Season 31 will feature three coaches — Queen Latifah, Riley Green, and Joe Jonas.
Bella Poarch is a 29-year-old Filipino and American singer who rose to fame on TikTok, where she currently has over 91 million followers. She released her debut EP Dolls in 2022.

Season 31 Will Premiere in 2027
Season 31 of The Voice is set to premiere in 2027. It will reportedly be completely pre-taped, with no live shows or voting from viewers at home. For the first time in the show’s history, the season will not be hosted by Carson Daly. Instead, actress Keke Palmer is stepping in to emcee.
Before that, Season 30 will premiere on NBC on September 21. This season will be in the traditional format, with Daly as host. The coaches for this season include Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green.
