‘The Voice’ Battles Continue with Even More Steals
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Voice Season 26 returned on Monday and Tuesday nights for even more Battles, as the coaches paired up their artists to narrow down their teams ahead of the Knockouts. The episodes featured a few more steals by the coaches.
The Voice Battles Continue with More Steals
Ahead of Monday’s episode, The Voice teased a Battle between Team Gwen artists Austyns Stancil and Jose Luis. The two performed “Lay Me Down” by Sam Smith, showing impressive range. What the early release didn’t show was who Stefani chose to keep on her team.
As it turns out, Stefani chose Jose to move on to the Knockouts on Team Gwen. However, it wasn’t the end of the road for Austyns, because all three other coaches hit their buttons to steal him. (Coaches each get two steals in the Battles this season.) It was up to Austyns to decide whose team to join, and he picked Snoop Dogg.
Monday’s episode also featured a steal by Stefani. It happened after Team Reba’s artists Deon Jones and Danny Joseph performed “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown. Reba McEntire chose to keep Danny on her team, but Stefani hit her button to steal Deon.
Then on Tuesday, Snoop Dogg used his second steal after Michael Bublé’s artists Sofronio Vasquez and Aliyah Khaylyn performed “The Power of Love” by Jennifer Rush. Bublé chose to keep Sofronio on his team, and Snoop chose to steal Aliyah.

The Battles Will Wrap Up Next Week
The Voice will return next Monday night on NBC for the final Battles, as the coaches finish narrowing down their teams ahead of the 3-Way Knockouts later in the season. The show will only air on Monday night, as Tuesday night is the presidential election.
Both Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg have used up both of their steals for the Battle round. That means there are two steals left — from Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire. We’ll see which artists they choose to steal on Monday night’s show.
