The Voice alum Libianca has recently released the official music video of her latest single, “People.” This release is evidently Libianca’s most successful output so far, leading her to increase in followers, streams, and views.
Libianca Releases Official Music Video of “People”
Over a week ago, Libianca has issued the fire yet emotional music video of her latest song. According to the singer, she wrote “People” back when she felt unseen and unheard. Such origin reflected in the latest visual content, manifesting a melancholic vibe from beginning to last.
“Get your tissues and wine glasses ready and tell your friends because you WILL be crying with me,” she wrote on January 18.
Libianca put out the studio version of “People” back in early December 2022. After two days, it impressively gained almost 300,000 all-time streams on Spotify. The singer took to Instagram her disbelief about the great news.
“I’ve never seen this much organic growth in my music before and I don’t know how to process it. I’ve been clinging to my therapist for dear life,” she wrote.
As of writing, “People” has 4.6 million views on YouTube and over 40 million streams on Spotify. In terms of social media engagements, this has been Libianca’s most popular release.
She Celebrates Present Career Milestone with Fans
Before she released the music video, Libianca expressed gratitude to her fans for already obtaining a remarkable achievement for herself. At the time, The Voice alum has reached one million monthly listeners on Spotify.
“A month ago, I had 14K instagram followers, 9K Spotify monthly listeners and less that 400K streams across all platforms,” she wrote. “And look at what God did. What ALL OF YOU DID! I’m not one to share my accomplishments out loud but y’all are so dear to me and I want us to celebrate this together.”
Since its release, fans are obviously playing “People” on repeat. Interestingly, some users have also treated the video’s comment section as their safe space to tell stories of their own that resonate with Libianca’s.
