The Voice is a singing competition that has become known not only for its talented contestants but also for the dramatic transformations that some undergo on stage. While many of these transformations involve makeup and costume changes, some contestants have undergone more subtle but equally impressive transformations. Let’s take a look at some of the most dramatic transformations to date on The Voice.

Jordan Smith

One of the most notable transformations on The Voice was that of Jordan Smith, who appeared in Season Nine of the show. Smith was initially known for his shy and reserved demeanor, and his underwhelming appearance did little to set him apart from the other contestants.

However, as the season progressed, Smith’s confidence grew, and he began to experiment with different hairstyles and outfits. By the time he reached the finals, Smith had undergone a stunning transformation, with a new hairstyle, a sharp suit, and a newfound sense of self-assurance. His performance of “Mary Did You Know” in the finale was a standout moment of the season, and he went on to win the competition.

Maelyn Jarmon

The Season 16 winner, Maelyn Jarmon, had a unique style and sound that she developed throughout the course of the show. Her transformation showcases the power of John Legend’s coaching and training she received on the show.

Chris Blue

Another contestant who underwent a dramatic transformation was Chris Blue, who appeared on Season 12 of The Voice. Blue impressed the judges with his initial audition, but he sported a somewhat dated style, wearing a fedora and a vest that seemed to belong to a different era. However, as the season progressed, Blue’s style evolved, and he began to experiment with more modern looks.

He also became more confident in his performance style, incorporating dance moves and a more dynamic stage presence. By the time he won the competition with his performance of “Rhythm Nation,” Blue had become a true showman, with a unique style that set him apart from the other contestants.

Brynn Cartelli

At just 15 years old, Brynn Cartelli became the youngest winner in the history of The Voice after winning season 14. Her transformation on the show was remarkable, as she grew into a more polished performer with each passing week.

Chevel Shepherd

Finally, we have Chevel Shepherd, who appeared on Season 15 of The Voice. Shepherd was a talented singer from the start, but her style was somewhat old-fashioned, with a predilection for Western-inspired outfits and hairstyles.

However, as the season progressed, Shepherd’s style began to evolve, with more modern looks that showcased her youth and energy. Her performance of “It’s a Little Too Late” in the finale was a standout moment, with a chic outfit and a spunky attitude that showed how far she had come since her initial audition.
