Season 14 of Britain’s Got Talent saw a kids choir that hopes to make a huge impact on the world. The group called SOS From The Kids sang about preserving the planet in one of the most adorable auditions of all time. Not only that, but they were spreading such an important message. Watch the audition below.
SOS From The Kids Moved The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Judges With Original Song
The group hilariously described themselves as a choir that sings songs when they first stepped onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage. It was a moment that will literally make you say “aw” out loud. They performed an original song about saving the planet and held up signs to spread awareness about pollution and deforestation and help out in any way that we can. It was a performance that really moved the audience and the judges because coming from kids, it allowed everyone to realize that the problem is serious enough for younger generations to want to get involved and help. “I think it’s great that you’ve taken not his cause, coming from you, it means an awful lot,” said David Walliams.
At which point the two little girls standing in the front began dancing. One girl’s pants fell down, sending the audience into a pool of laughter. The song was written by one of the members of the group and his mom. “This is heaven. Watching you guys on stage is so joyful” Alesha Dixon said. The judges agreed that the choir would inspire so many people to do their part and help save the planet. “When you hear this from children’s voices then I think we’ve got no choice but to listen and join forces to basically save the planet,” Amanda Holden said. “Kids rule the world right now,” Simon Cowell said. Not surprisingly, they received four yes’s from the judges for a chance to move on to the live shows.
The Choir Just Released A Song For Frontline Workers During The Pandemic
The Britain’s Got Talent live shows were halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that did not stop SOS From The Kids from continuing their activism. They came out with a brand new song called “Stand As One.” On Facebook, they called it “a thank you to all those on the front lines fighting Coronavirus.” Check out the song below which is yet another powerful performance with a message.
The post continued on to say “Proceeds of this song will go to NHS Charities Together & Masksfornhsheroes this was written, recorded and filmed (via Zoom) during lockdown.” The group also encouraged people to stay home and practice social distancing in order to slow the spread of coronavirus.
Britain’s Got Talent is set to return with the live shows this fall so definitely be on the lookout for SOS From The Kids.
