Season 6 of The Masked Singer will have some of the best costumes yet. Two more costumes have been revealed and fans are already buzzing about who could be underneath the masks. The Cupcake and the Queen of Hearts are ready for their chance to take the stage.
‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals the Sugary Sweet Cupcake Costume
The Masked Singer has finally delivered one of the most highly-requested costumes ever. Each season, fans have flown to the comments section on Instagram to ask for a cupcake mask. Now, the delicious confection has been brought to life and is full of color. It was well worth the wait.
The teaser video for the Cupcake puts a spotlight on her red lipstick. The person under the mask could be a celebrity with a famous pout. Cupcake’s long eyelashes and blue and pink frosting are complimented by a pair of neon green boots. If Ken Jeong doesn’t continuously make cupcake puns throughout the season, we would be very disappointed.
Popular guesses for the identity of Cupcake include Rosanna Pansino, Oprah Winfrey, Rachel Ray, and Taylor Swift. This is an interesting mix of guesses, but don’t be fooled. The Masked Singer is really good at making you think the celebrity underneath the mask will be obvious. Just because it is a food-related mask does not mean the celebrity works in the food industry or has a connection to food.
The Show Introduced a Costume Fit for Royalty
The Queen of Hearts mask is looking to snatch yet another crown on The Masked Singer. Fans are absolutely loving this costume. Many are even saying it is their favorite that has been revealed so far. What’s unique about Queen of Hearts is that the costume only has one eye. Whoever is underneath the mask must be a skilled performer who can handle not being able to see that well beneath the mask.
Queen of Hearts does have a crown and bright blue lipstick. A true entertainment queen has to be under the mask. Paula Abdul is one of the most-guessed celebrities that could be wearing this costume. Abdul was previously a judge on the first season of The Masked Dancer. Finally putting on a mask would be the ultimate surprise for the judges this season.
Singer Ava Max’s song “Kings & Queens” led to a slew of fans guessing she is underneath the mask. Christina Aguilera, Billie Eilish, and Dolly Parton are also popular choices. Longtime fans of the show know that the most popular contestant to be revealed so far was Kermit the Frog. Eilish and Aguilera might be a little too famous to take The Masked Singer stage.
A Trailer Reveals New Clues for Each Mask So Far
Five costumes have been revealed so far on Instagram with plenty more on the way. Before the big September 22 premiere, we will finally get a glimpse of all of the costumes featured in the Season 6 trailer. A preview posted this week offers some important clues for the masks that have been revealed so far.
Cupcake’s clues include her taking a selfie and posting it on social media. She receives a lot of love for her social media posts. Could it be Addison Rae? Banana Split is a costume we saw very briefly in the first trailer. He is joined by an ice cream cone in this preview. The pair hold money guns and make it rain. They also enjoy glasses of champagne before being handed a bill.
Mallard walks out to a huge crowd of people who are all asking for autographs. One lucky fans gets one of the feathers from his costume. He could be a heartthrob or a popular musician. One thing we learn about Dalmatian from this trailer is that he can dance. He flaunts his moves in a ballet studio before the camera turns over to Hamster. Hamster makes a very impressive jump shot on the basketball court.
