‘The Masked Singer’ Teases First Performance, New Costumes for Season 12

The Masked Singer has shared a teaser for Season 12 of the show, featuring the first performance clip and a sneak peek at some of the new costumes we can expect to see. The show is scheduled to return September 25 on FOX.
The Masked Singer Teases Season 12 Costumes, Performance
The new teaser for Season 12 opens with a performance from someone who seems to be dressed as a ship. They show off an impressive voice on a cover of “Pompeii” by Bastille, prompting panelist Jenny McCarthy to shout, “Incredible!”
The short video also includes several quick shots of other contestants on the new season. One of them is Wasp, as confirmed by the screen behind them during their performance. The other names haven’t been revealed, but they look like some sort of green goo monster, a pink bunny, a dodo bird, and a bison.
“There are clues everywhere,” host Nick Cannon can be heard saying, as the panel zeroes in on details in the contestants’ costumes. The video ends with a clip of panelist Ken Jeong standing on the table shouting in triumph over an unmasking.

The Show Returns in September
Fans don’t have much longer to wait before Season 12 of The Masked Singer premieres. The new season kicks off on Wednesday, September 25, on FOX. Episodes will also be available to watch the next day on Hulu.
This season, longtime panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong will be back. Rita Ora will also be back for her second season on the U.S. version of the show, once again filling in for Nicole Scherzinger. Nick Cannon will be back to host the show.
