The Masked Singer Season 7 returned on Wednesday night with a “Road to the Finals” special, revealing new clues about the final three contestants. The three Team Good members — Firefly, Ringmaster, and Prince — reminisced about their journeys and looked ahead to next week’s finale.

‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals New Clues Before Finale

Each of the remaining contestants revealed a new clue about themselves during Wednesday’s show. First, Ringmaster shared a clue that seemed to connect them with the Girl Scouts. They also said they’re a cat lover, which inspired their costume.

Next up was Prince, whose new clue appeared to be a howling dog. They also shared that “most people don’t even know me as a singer” and said they want to “reintroduce myself to the world.”

And finally, Firefly revealed a skateboard as their clue. They also gave a little more insight into their coughing fit during the season premiere. Apparently their mask was making it hard for them to breathe, and they started to feel hot. This led to a panic attack, which required them to stop the performance.

The Contestants Preview Their Finale Performances

The remaining three singers will each sing two songs in the finale. Ringmaster said one of their songs is something they’ve been saving for the finale, because they’ve sung it their whole life. The second one is more fun and makes them feel strong vocally.

Firefly teased an emotional first song, but said they’re “really excited” about the second one, adding that it’s the song that “taught me to sing.” Meanwhile, Firefly said their first song will be fun, but they’re nervous to sing their second song, because they respect the artist and expect him to be watching.

The episode ended with a performance of “Unwritten” from Natasha Bedingfield, aka Pepper from Season 6. She’ll be hosting the show’s upcoming live tour. After that, the show closed with a performance of “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” from the season’s unmasked singers.

Don’t you forget to watch The Masked Singer Season 7 finale, next Wednesday night on FOX.
